Non-Jeep 4X4 Photo Album
Here are my non-jeep 4x4s past and present. Click on the pic for more and hurry back!

This 1976 Toyota Land Cruiser was my first 4x4 and my second vehicle! The solid lifter 257.9 6-cyl was a weak point but the running gear was very stout. The Daylighters were way too bright for use in the mountains-maybe not for the desert racing they were designed for.

This 1978 Ford Bronco was seen in Tellico a few times before you could take a car from Murphy to Tellico campground. The 351M was strong enough but the axle gears were way to high for good wheelin’. The limited slip was a poor design-after two new axles I sold the truck. This pic was at Hawshaw Gap.

This 1978 Chevrolet served me well for several years. The 350 ran great but it needed a four-barrel carb. It had a part-time conversion that helped somewhat on the gas mileage. The 33/12:50’s worked great for the limited off-roading it saw.

This is my current daily driver 1988 GMC Suburban. I love this truck!! The wheels have been upsized and a hidden CB and KC fog lights round out the current mods (new pics!). Soon to have rougher tires-watch for update!! Click here for more on the 1988 Sub-NEW PIC!!
This is my wife’s 1997 Blazer. The Vortec V-6 is great-lots of power. The sunroof is a little close for me at 6’6” but she doesn’t have any trouble-she’s only 6’3”! The CD player is nice but the Sub will have to get by with the cassette-I need more Jeep parts! Click here for more on the 1997 Blazer
