This is my 1972 Cherokee parts truck. It has a homemade pickup bed and the body was cut behind the front seats! The 360,automatic trans, manual t-case and axles will probably end up in other projects or maybe it will become the next Hybrid for Tellico <smile>.

This 1973 is also one I still have. It is almost down to the rails now. The 304 may end up in another rig along with the Dana axles (3:73) I think the Ramsey 8000 needs to go on the Suburban---the manifolds have went on the CJ-7 already.

This was Grandpa’s 1974 Jeep. The 232 wasn’t very strong but the little tires didn’t need much. It started me 4-wheelin’ when he would let me drive it in Tellico when we went trout fishing. The rear seat could come out by pulling two pins and made a great camp chair (Jeep should never have abandoned this design).

This 1976 was my great-uncle’s before he sold it to me. The 304 worked with the 3:54 axles to turn the 14:35’s ok but the lack of power steering or brakes made it a handful. Click here for more on the 1976 CJ-5
This 1978 was one of my favorites. 304, 3-speed, 4:09 axles, power steering and brakes, Renegade package, and killer stereo made it a lot of fun. 12:00’s on 12” rims won’t work well off road but the glasspacks and headers sounded great! This one is going to be sold as soon as I finish swapping out parts for my latest one. The 258 i-6 stays but the T-176 4-sp, 300 t-case, & maybe the 3.54 AMC axles are going on the CJ-7. The Ramsey 8000 is already gone to the red Jeep and some white spokes and 12.50 tires will go on it to keep the “P” Buckshots on Outlaw II wheels for the other one. This is my current driver and the project for the winter. The motor is an AMC 360 with headers and sidepipes (going away as soon as I get time. The 3 speed and Dana 20 t-case are headed for the CJ-5 to be sold. The 2.73 widetrac axles may go on the 5-don't know yet :) Still working out the bugs such as no gas gage, no heater fan, carb problems, you know the drill 8) UPDATE>>>Click here for it's new page!
